Climate change is a persistent issue that is threatening the future of children, the next generation. The situation is worsening and therefore there is the need for a concerted effort to take urgent action in climate change mitigation, adaptation, and financing.
Beyond Light Foundation supports vulnerable communities, promote sustainable practices to mitigate the impact of climate change and build climate change resilience. The organization aims to engage children and youth in climate change solutions for a better sustainable future by building climate change initiative hubs in communities, awareness campaigns, activism and empowerment programmes. Other activities to be run include health and wellbeing support, supporting renewable energy projects, ecosystem restoration, environmental improvement and conservation activities, support indigenous knowledge, community led solutions, community resilience building and sustainable solutions.
