Beyond Light Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organisation founded in Uganda, East Africa with a commitment to transform lives of the less privileged children through quality education, proper food and nutrition, empowering the community with sustainable skills, providing acceptable water, Sanitation and Hygiene Systems (WASH) and better management of climate change, environment and ecosystem.
The organisation has been in operation since 2019 facilitating homes with less privileged children. We run our projects focusing on five goals defined through what we do. We strive to build a world where children thrive in harmony with nature.
So far, Beyond Light Foundation (BLF) has supported 30 children's homes in urban poor communities of Kakiri Subcounty, Kawanda, and Bweyogerere, reaching over 50 less privileged children with food supplies, school materials, and hygiene kits. We have also extended support to two orphanages in Wakiso, helping provide nutritious meals, education support, and improved living conditions for vulnerable children. Through these efforts, we are ensuring that children in need have access to basic necessities, education, and a brighter future.
Transforming lives and communities globally for a better sustainable future for the children and communities.
Our core values are Transparency, Trust, Integrity, Respect, Accountability and Standing together.
To inspire hope, character and livelihood to the less privileged children for a sustainable future through quality education, skills development, improved food and nutrition, acceptable water, sanitation and hygiene systems (WASH), and better climate actions, improved ecosystem and environmental conservation.
Since 2019, we have reached 30 homes and supported 50 children with essential needs, education, and well-being programs. But there’s more to be done. Get Involved so that we can build a world where every child thrives in harmony with nature.
